I grabbed my best friend's fraile, thin wrists and glanced up and down her arm at the thin red slices that embellished the dissapearing limb. I collapsed down on my knees out of emotional pain and started sobbing. Normally I would never cry out in public like this but I was so down, I didn't care if the president was there. I needed to cry. I stood back up and wiped my mascara stained cheeks with my long sleeve.
"Why?" I sobbed through tears.
Then, I lost my best friend.
